In the painful disease laminitis, the hoof corium becomes inflamed and the hoof capsule detaches. Sometimes the diagnosis is a death sentence. The farriers chose their new Swiss Apprentice Champion 2019. The competition was held as part of SwissSkills on 13 and 14 April 2019 at OFFA in St. Gallen. TRYON, NC, USA - The World Equestrian Games only take place every four years, making it this year's highlight of the equestrian season. In 2018, the journey leads to the American southern states: Tryon in North Carolina is the venue for the Games, which will be held from 11 to 23 September 2018, and as farrier I am once again in charge of the Swiss show jumping team. The Equipenchef about farrier Cyrill Zuber: "Cyrill Zuber is not only an excellent farrier, he is also a very important and appreciated team member. With his positive manner, his humour and his empathy, he contributes decisively to the good team spirit and team success. After the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, I am happy that Cyrill will also accompany us to the World Equestrian Games in Tryon USA".
